Two Winter Skincare Essentials

Winter is fast approaching here in Canada, and with that comes dry skin. When my skin is dry, I love thicker and richer creams, but that can also lead to clogged pores. This past month, I was introduced to a new and affordable skincare brand, Good Molecules. I discovered two winter skincare essentials from them this past month, and trust me when I say, these two are absolute essentials for this winter season!

MORE ABOUT GOOD MOLECULES

Good Molecules formulates their products with the best ingredients in the industry for effective results. Top quality, yet affordable skincare that targets specific skin needs is the brand’s expertise, so you can count on finding the right products for your skin concerns!

Two Winter Skincare Essentials
NIACINAMIDE SERUM (USD 6)

Based on clinical evidence, Niacinamide helps reduce the appearance of large pores, while improving the skin’s brightness and texture. This serum falls true to its claims. Within a week of using it twice every single day, my skin tone looked a lot more even and bright. After 2 – 3 weeks of usage, I noticed my pores did in fact look smaller. Shrinking the size of pores is not physically possible. However, their appearance can be minimized, which is exactly what this serum does. My pores have never looked this small in my life, and I have this serum to thank for that.

SQUALANE OIL (USD 8)

Squalane is a fast-absorbing and non-greasy oil that nourishes and protects against dehydration. Unfortunately, skin has already started suffering from the current cold weather in Canada. However, thanks to this oil, I’m able to easily rehydrate my skin in just one sleep. After serum, I applying a few drops of the oil and work it into the skin. True to its claims, this oil quickly absorbs into the skin without leaving behind a greasy texture. Any dry patches I previously had on my skin are eliminated by the next morning. Instead, I am left with soft, plump, and hydrated skin.

These two winter skincare essentials have truly been a lifesaver this season. I’m confident I’ll be able to rock flawless all winter long with this duo in my skincare routine.

  1. To be honest, I have never had a skin care routine! I suffer from dry skin in the winter and oily in the summer. I should definitely try to incorporate these products into my morning.

    1. I have the exact same skin issues, except my t-zone is oily no matter what season it is! These two products have really helped with the dryness on my cheeks and the oiliness on my t-zone! πŸ’“
