Gift Guide for the Skincare Lover

Christmas is less than one month away, which means gift guides are now a routine part of my reading list. My previous gift guide features lip product value sets that would make great gifts for any lippie addict. Today, I’ll be rounding up my top ten skincare value sets that have made it to my gift guide for the skincare lover. These sets would make amazing gifts for anyone on your list from skincare junkies to beginners looking for their perfect routines.

1. Origins Mask & Go Set: On-the-Go Masking Must-Haves (CAD 25)

Origins masks have been my go-to’s ever since I got into skincare. They make amazing masks for all skin concerns from spot-treatment to exfoliation. This set of five minis is a great way for anyone to try out their masks to determine which ones work for their skin type and concerns.

2. Ole Henriksen O.M.G. (Oh My Glow) Brightening Set (CAD 64)

This set of minis makes the perfect gift for those who travel frequently. Anytime I travel, my skin always looks duller because of the air change. This line specifically helps to brighten and even out skin tone, so that frequent flyer on your list will love you for this travel-friendly set!

3. Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Carnaval Getaway Set (CAD 33)

This trio of bestselling body care products smells like a tropical vacation and comes in a beautiful travel bag. The Bum Bum Cream is extremely moisturizing without being heavy or greasy. It’s been my go-to body cream for the past year, and I cannot rave enough about it. This set is great for gym-goers (especially swimmers) who need a yummy refresh after their workout.

4. Dermalogica Normal/Oily Skin Regimen Kit (USD 39)

This skincare kit includes every product you’ll need to create a complete skincare routine and will make a great gift for the teens on your list. Oftentimes, teens experience troubled skin because of changes in hormones, so products that target oily and acne-prone skin are essential. Since skincare is so individualized, this set is a great way to see if this line is effective for the receiver’s particular skin type.

5. Sunday Riley Multivitamins Kit (USD 28)

These two luxury minis will make an awesome gift for those older individuals on your list since both products have powerful anti-aging properties. Sunday Riley products are often quite pricey, so these two minis are a great way to try out their products without breaking the bank.

6. First Aid Beauty Fablantis (CAD 64)

I’ve raved about First Aid Beauty for years now, and their value sets are especially fabulous. They always include at least one full-size product, but the Fablantis set has THREE: the Facial Radiance Pads, Ultra Repair Cream, and Ultra Repair Lip Therapy. The two minis are also a very reasonable size, so you’ll get a good amount of uses out of them.

7. Mario Badescu Facial Spray Travel Trio (CAD 20)

This trio of facial sprays consists of three scents: rose (brightening), lavender (hydrating), and cucumber (nourishing) and makes the perfect gift for anyone on your list. Each spray targets a specific skin concern, so you’ll have a remedy for whatever your skin is feeling that day. These facial mists make an amazing toner, but they are also fantastic for a midday refresh and makeup setting spray.

8. Glow Recipe Glow Baby Glow (CAD 37)

Glow Recipe sleep masks have taken the world by storm and for good reason too. Their Watermelon Sleep Mask helps resurface and hydrate the skin to achieve smooth and plump skin the very next morning. The Avocado Melt Retinol Sleep Mask has powerful anti-aging and nourishing properties that promote youthful skin. This power duo of minis will have anyone on your gifts list wanting more.

9. Caudalie Vinosource SOS Intense Hydration Duo (CAD 90)

Caudalie is known for their high-quality skincare products, and this full-size duo is the gift of luxury to anyone on your list. The serum and moisturizer in this kit are best suited for those with parched skin looking for intense hydration to repair and nourish their skin this winter.

10. Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks (CAD 30)

Another universal suggestion that will make the perfect gift for anyone on your list is this set of six eye masks. Winters can be stressful for so many reasons and with this stress comes eye bags. Whether the eye bags are from a lack of sleep or just from a stressful holiday season, these foiled eye masks will pack a punch of hydration and nourishment to your under eyes. Furthermore, these fun eye masks also come in a foiled rose gold, making it a super fun and girly option for those girly girls on your list!

That’s a wrap for my gift guide for the skincare lover. Let me know in the comments which skincare value set you have your eyes on, or if you have any other skincare gift sets you’d recommend!

  1. I really like that travel spray! The ingredients seem like the perfect addition to keep the skin moisturized and refreshed! Especially if it has lavender in it, it just makes it smell so amazing and calming! Nice choices here.

    1. I haven’t tried Beautycounter skincare products, but I do enjoy their makeup products that I’ve tried! ❤️ What skincare products would you recommend I try first from them? 😊
